TSUMUZI（ツムジ）
作曲家・バイオリニスト。
“５拍子の貴公子” “変拍子の貴公子” との呼び名で親しまれている日本の作曲家 / バイオリニスト。音楽家でありながら、都内の国立医大を卒業しドクターライセンスを持つという異色の理系バイオリニストである。
世界的に見ても珍しい '５拍子' '変拍子’に特化した音楽性と心の琴線に訴える独特なバイオリンの音色で国内外から注目を集めている。
楽曲のみならずバンド編成で魅せる躍動感のあるライブも魅力で、近年では サントリーホール、神田明神ホール、日本橋アートアクアリウムなどで舞踊、和楽器、いけ花など多ジャンルを取り入れた公演を成功させ、そのプロデュース能力でも定評を得ている。
また代表作『俺のリベルタンゴ / Libertango My Own』のミュージックビデオは発表以来、定期的にヨーロッパ、アジア、南米のジャズチャート1位を獲得しており、初の海外公演となったスペインでのコンサートでも自身の探求してきた5拍子とフラメンコとの親和性に着目したサウンドが好評を博し、2025年にはイラン政府文化庁からの招聘でイランでのコンサートを行うなど世界に通用する５拍子、変拍子の第一人者としての地位を確立している。
2025年4月、自身7枚目となるアルバム『５拍子の金字塔』をリリース、ますます活動の幅を広げている。

TSUMUZI / Composer, Violinist
TSUMUZI is a Japanese composer, violinist who is known as "Mr. 5 beats" "Mr. Asymmetrical Meters" by his characteristic music style.
Living in Tokyo, TSUMUZI began his musical career while going to medical school and released his debut studio album "Devilish Waltz of A Soul - The Tango of February 26th" in 2013 after getting Doctor license.
Since its release, the music video for his masterpiece "Libertango My Own" has regularly topped jazz charts in Europe, Asia, and South America, and his overseas concert in Spain was well-received for the sound, which focused on the affinity between his own exploration of 5/4 time and flamenco.
In 2025, he was invited by the Iranian government to perform and to shoot several music videos in Iran.
He is establishing his position as a world top runner in 5/4 time and Asymmetrical Meters amd has released seven albums to date, Devilish Waltz of A Soul (2013), Guernica Dogma (2015), Libertango My Own (2016), JAPON NEO SOUL 2O2O (2019), Quintuple Meter Bible (2022), Five Beats on the Frontier(2023), Monumental of Five Beats(2025).
